The pump of the new version is a little bit longer than the old one. For better protection of the PCB inside.

@IOAOI Still testing? I have a new IM Fusion 15 that I'm about to setup and is my first saltwater tank. Been looking for a protein skimmer and this looks like it may fit the bill. I have a 90 gallon also that am waiting to install but takes a lot more planning.

No worries. They won't rust.

I have the <20 gallon version, and I can attest that they don't rust. I took my pump apart to clean last week, and they looked as good as new.

Same with the 100+ gallon skimmer. I ran mine for quite a bit (until the urchin ate my wire) and the screws had 0 rust.
