I am sad I missed this thread. I have a 75g, newer setup. I’m using the Tunze 9004 right now, but am currently struggling with it not staying in place. I’ve been discussing options with Roger, and right now the 2 possibilities are some sort of defect, or potentially trying the stronger outer magnets. But this HOB would give me greater capacity, and free up in tank space. I always seem to be just late enough to the party to miss the free round of drinks

I've got their nano AIO skimmer. I can fit it in the first chamber of my waterbox 15. Not easily mind you, but it will fit. I moved it over to my IM 30 and it pulls a lot of nasty stuff. I'm set to get this HOB (thank you IOAIO) and I think I'm going to place it on the 30 and move the nano skimmer back over to the little waterbox.
Yeah I still run floss so wouldn't be able to fit it in, but this would could work really well if it's not too big. Happy to test out the next batch :)

i received mine Tuesday night, set it up on wed afternoon so its been running for 24 hrs now, upon plugging it up I first noticed how quiet the pump was, after flooding my counter more than a few times i stoped and decided to read the instructions. LOL it was a bit tricky but i got it where it needs to be.
Now on to just give it time to break in!

I received this skimmer today. It was simple to assemble. I put it on my 40b frag tank and it’s a perfect size for it. It requires a few days to break-in but the airline tubing is very easy to fine tune the bubbles in the skimmer neck. I’m very impressed so far and will update once the unit breaks in. Also, the pump is incredibly quiet. It’s a very nice, well-built skimmer.

@LadyMac if they run this test, this would be perfect for your 70?
I don’t know how it would work with the sump. I don’t have room on the display and there’s snow space under the cabinet.

However I’m looking at this one:

If it’s as quiet and easy to setup as the small nano one then I think it’ll be a great purchase.(I didn’t see kne any smaller sadly that will go in the sump)
