Flukes + Bacterial Infection?

Unfortunately my Blackcap has been doing poorly for a few weeks. The first signs was minor head shakes and not eating.

Freshwater dip was done. This was going to be the third week of Prazipro. I do not think he will be alive when I get to work as a hermit crab had him pinned yesterday.

Of course I have a purchased quarantined fish arriving today.

i am just trying to make sure these pics only show dying fluke and possible bacterial infection and not ich or velvet.

Flukes are not visible on a fish, but you can see some of the secondary damage that they do, otherwise you look for rapid breathing and flashing/scratching. Even if you didn't 100% eradicate the flukes, the treatments that you did should have caused it to improve somewhat.

How long have you had the blackcap?
Did the crab do some damage to the fish, there seems to be some visible.
Are there any other fish in the tank, how are they doing?

Velvet would show as really rapid breathing in all fish, quickly followed by death, so I think you can rule that out. Ich would show as white spots, followed by overall mucus in severe cases, I don't see that here.

Only other fish is a possum wrasse. They were both put in the tank at the same time. 39 days ago. There have never been any other fish in the tank.

Possum wrasse is very active and feeds well. No signs of anything with it.

The Blackcap had to have been old as well, right around 4 inches long.

He had passed as of this morning.

Should I continue the Prazipro schedule to conclusion as preventative?

Sorry to hear of loss. What you suspected as fluke may be sand grain in its body and as Jay stated , rest looks like visible/physical damage

Yes, I would finish the Prazipro, the only negative for doing that would be the cost.
