Florida Aquarium businesses: any updates if they are safe

Hey all, I am so oblivious here in Arizona sometimes, as the heat is our natural disaster. I didn't even think how Tampa Bay Saltwater and many other saltwater aquarium related businesses in Florida may be fairing. Has anyone heard if they are ok? I see they are closed on the website, understandable, and hope they are all alright and their business is intact. Fingers crossed for them and others affected by the hurricane.

Last week, I spoke with Dan Sanchez, diver owner of Gulf LiveRock and he is out for one month.

A new tropical storm is forming in the Gulf of Mexico and is forecast to hit Tampa Bay on October 12. Russ Kronwetter, diver/owner, at GulfCoast EcoSystems just posted this at his website live-plants:

Update 10/5 - Due to the approach of yet another hurricane forecasted to be in our area next week, we're only shipping on Mon, Oct 7th. All orders received after Sun, Oct 6th will ship the following week. Our inventory will remain very limited until things recover in the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks for your patience and support

This coming hurricane is arriving Wednesday morning and will be in Path of @WWC and would be interesting to hear how they are preparing

If they are in the path they are probably under an evacuation order so if their smart they'll shut down and run.

Milton sustained winds now at 180 mph... looking to track straight towards Tampa and storm surges of 10-15 feet. I know some whose houses became part of the gulf during Helene...

Businesses, homes and lives are in danger.

Prayers to those in the path.

If they are in the path they are probably under an evacuation order so if their smart they'll shut down and run.

They're about an hour and a half away from any mandatory evacuation.

I didn't know there were a new storm blowing up into Florida and my comment on the forbidden subject matter blowed up into a situation that the Mods had to move in quickly to clean up. I wish the board moderators would get into elected public service so that positive results could be delivered when the rest of the nations public needs help instead of commentary?

This gave me an idea. I am praying for the storm to fizzle out over the Atlantic, or at least a near miss of the delicate coastal areas.
