What I am not understanding is the blue is 420nm and the red is 620nm not 14,000 K or 20,000 K.

I'm pretty sure you know the following but just in case. What you do not understand is because K (Kelvin) is temperature vs nm (nanomaters) are wavelengths. A certain Kelvin temperature consists of a nearly infinite number of wavelengths to produce the perceived color. Nanometers, on the other hand, measure a specific wavelength. So even if the Kelvin temperature appears amber, it's actually a combination of wavelengths at different nanometers. In other words, while a 14K or 20K diode will contain some of the wavelength measured at 420nm, it will also contain many other wavelengths. A 420nm diode should only put out light measured to 420nm.

I hope this makes some sense.

Yep, was trying to not complicate things by stating a complicated answer. Thanks for the input! :)

No worries. I've been known to overthink and complicate a glass of water! :p

Lol, me too!

Hhmmm... I wonder why I had that feeling. Maybe it has something to do with the idea that you wrote a dissertation about the psychology of reefing. ;) lol

Oh, I keep forgetting to mention that I LOVE your dogs!

This was Joe. Lost him going on 5 years ago. I still miss him. This was very near the end of his life.

Man, sorry for your loss. Boxers and similar breeds are the best. They are just like a human kid! Very intelligent and very attached to their humans.

I love all of them!

Awww man, I'd never take you for one to take the easy way out! Lol

Maybe if I take one of the toadstools out, the candy canes can grow as big as the Monti! Lol :p
