I'm thought about it a little lately. I've had such bad experiences with Inkbirds in the past, so that's out. Been thinking old school and going with a Ranco.

Would drift out of calibration to the point you couldn't calibrate it anymore.

Update: Water change day. I've been Aiptasia hunting so far today. Got seven of them.

The wiring has been put on hold. I decided that the issue wasn't overloading the circuit, but a bad GFCI. I replaced the GFCI with a new one and cleaned the ATO pump. After cleaning the pump it wouldn't restart. This could have been my issue all along with a bad pump. So i replaced the pump and so far all good.

Next is to clean the inside glass with a razor blade and mount the wave maker power bricks i've let hang under the DT stand.

Just brush the sandy blonde bangs out of your eyes and ull find a fix in the trunk of ur car under the tire. A twist wrap and a 9v duracell outta do the trick.

Just brush the sandy blonde bangs out of your eyes and ull find a fix in the trunk of ur car under the tire. A twist wrap and a 9v duracell outta do the trick.

You can fix anything with some bacon strips and a large hammer! Lol And that doesn't work, some RP-1 and some LOX and send it to Orbit! LOL

It's a beautiful day here. Got some yard work done.

Water change done. I'm going to start a list of improvements to the system today.

As luck would have it, I woke up Sunday with a sore throat. Went to a urgent care near by and they did a covid test on me. I don't have strep confirmed by a test. So with that said, I feel fine, but i'm in quarantine till the test comes back. Work won't allow me back till then. 3-5 days.

Went salty and after the cycle in went some easy corals

I started out with T5's over this tank. Aquticlife 8 bulb fixture

But got tired of changing bulbs (ATI) and the cost involved, so in October of 2016 I switched over to the Mars Aqua units. Corals responded very well with the LED's.

And as of this month I modded them by replacing some of the diodes to mimic the SB reeflights layout

So that's about it. I've been slowly adding more and more SPS frags. Some acropora, some montipora caps and digitatas.

Fish as of right now:

Tomini tang
Paired ocellaris clownfish
mandarin dragonet goby
yellow coris wrasse
Vermiculite leopard wrasse

I love this hobby! Fins up and happy reefing!

This is awesome I’m building a house right now and we have a basement that I’m going to use as my fish room! Am upgrading to red sea reefer 9xl I am going to get our plumber to make me something similar where I can return the clean water back up a pipe in the wall to the tank and drain dirty water out into a drain! I will have ro holding tanks to store and make water.

Update: Corals are doing great! I was able to synchronize the Jebao’ and I like the chaotic flow, so do the corals!

Water change soon. Water is made and ready.

I’m going to go DIY for phosphate. Was watching a Youtuber “telegraham” live stream making it. Food grade trisodium phosphate. Way cheaper! This will happen!

Going to pull the trigger on a clip on filter for my iPhone soon.

My corals the wife ordered from Yourreef will be shipping soon. I will do my best to take some pictures of them after they settle.

I've been tossing around doing a Youtube channel for sometime now, just don't have all the "stuff" to do it yet. Maybe by the end of the year.
