Hi there!
I was wondering about your favorite cheap but entertaining fish. I wanna see other's opinions to see if I could get a new fun fish for my tank... Which is looking a little empty.
My personal favorite are the only fish I have in the tank, meh clownfish. I'd be interested to see your favs.

All my fish died from brook recently so I don't have any pictures. I would recommend a pistol shrimp and goby pair. My favorite is a dracula goby and red banded pistol shrimp. These ones are not cheap but there are cheaper options.

My neon dottyback is entertaining. Despite being a carnivore it's the only fish in the tank that attacks the nori seaweed I put in for the tang. I can't tell if it's eating it or just attacking the waving nori. It also attacks any maintenance tools like forceps or siphon hose. Good news is it's peaceful with the other fish!

I've been looking into those, but I'm a little scared that they might destroy the rock work.
definitely my favorite as well. If you can get a candy cane pistol and yasha pair, they won't do much damage to you aquascape/sandbed

I have a yellow clown goby that is adorable and hilarious. They like to stick to the rocks but also hover in place. Such an odd little thing

also recommend a purple basslett- not cheap in my opinion (~$75) but they are beautiful and generally not shy once they get used to things. It always swims to the front when I’m around
