Hi I added these clowns in my tank about a week ago I’ve had a yellow watchman in there for about a month nothing wrong. All my water is pretty perfect. They are acting perfectly fine nothing unusual. They’re eating like normal, but one of them has these little bump looking things. Idk if it’s ich or velvet or brooke wondering if I should take them out and go fallow. Or just monitor for now. Please help Thankyou!
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Salinity 1.026
78f
Nitrate maybe 5-10
Ph 7.8
Phos fine last time I checked.

This based on size and location looks to be ich. Fish will need to be treated in a separate tank using coppersafe at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 For a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off and with occupants exposed, they too should go into quarantine
A quarantine tank can be as simple as a tank from a second hand store, a rubbermaid type tub or a starter kit from Walmart which most of the needed essentials.

Was brook or velvet clownfish dead when came back from work. I’m taking the goby and other clown out now. The other clown is showing beginning signs. Goby has no signs.

I didn’t have a qt set up which is why I couldn’t treat it that day. It started looking really bad the following day I did an R/O dip for a little bit and it helped it. I work 24 hour shifts so when I got back he’s gone. Assuming the clean up crew ate the rest of him.
