A couple of pelagic triggers would be pretty epic in there. Any plans for something like an outrigger or crosshatch... or even a niger?

I would love to get a Niger trigger at some point… love the undulating top and bottom fins on those sweet fish!!

Would you have any advice for aquascaping/rock work? I've been hired to facilitate starting up a large system and our next big task is building the rock. The current plan is to build large pillars to keep the corals from interacting too much.

Those socks get heavy so I added some bracing to support them when they are full! Adding the bottom next then on to the sump catwalk build.

Mid Cipro treatment, 3 of 5 doses in… turned off the 10k cannons to keep the medication potent… white margin unicorn tang getting large!!

I’ve been losing some SPS & Chalice, with very consistent water params. Weird because I have some dying from the centers, haven’t had this before.

Treating for some bad bacteria. This is what I gathered from some research:

Ciprofloxacin treatment:

-10 day treatment
-Skimmers on
-No carbon, media
-UV & Ozone off

-Two 10% water changes 3 days apart
-Dose with several bacteria supplements (to replace good)

Pathogen treatment:

a) 500mg/500gal - Vibrio
b) 500mg/100gal - Acrobacter

Every other day for 10 days

8/27 - 11:55pm
8/29 - 10:07pm
8/31 - 11:30pm
9/2 - tonight
9/4 -

So far so good…

Getting close!

Just need to build the catwalk that goes over the sump which will also have a spot for the CaRx, Kalk reactor and Biodenitrator.

Need to have that all dialed in and ready so I don't keep the tank off too long during the swap.
