my experience with Dino X is that it gets really bad, then literally over night its all gone. Its only been 1 week or so, not sure if itll make a comeback.

Be sure to apply it at night with lights out and you must trap the loose Dino and get rid of it Daily. Do NOT feed coral food during the day otherwise you are feeding the Dino also. Lights should be off to dim during treatment.

If it has subsided, then for next 4 weeks add .5ml of regular hydrogen Peroxide per 10 gals . That dino will not come back !!

Fauna marin recommends switching off the lights the first two days during dosing.

I picked up another piece of info on a different thread. When dosing the dinox, turn off the fuge light too. I think the thought is if they are in the water column they pick up the light from the fuge.

Lets see, day 3 on my 65. I don't see any left - hopefully stays that way when i switch the lights on.

Must apply it at night, vacuum every couple of days, absolutely NO full lighting (5.5 hrs is giving them play time) and add 1 ml of peroxide per 10 gals during the days. My tank was out of control 2 weeks ago and is now sparkling. Also use turkey baster daily to loosen stuff up and send it to the sump
Is dosing H202 good for corals? I currently have Dinos I think with corals, is a 3 day blackout ok with my corals and when should I dose the H202 at night? Also, do you think getting DinoX is worth it

Peroxide serves as an oxidizers and is made of mainly water and is of no harm. Three days often not enough as is 5 days and even up to seven. If you have light dependent corals like SPS, I often suggest running blue at 10% or lower. Light is fuel for dino and the more you deprive light- the more you will take away their food source.
Dino X - a waste of money. Add Bacteria during the day such as MicroBacter 7 to overrun the cell structure of dino. H2H20 at night

Dino X - a waste of money.
I have not used DinoX when I had outbreak.

But I did follow the the HTU documentation that is here:

i am bit wondering about all the tips, which are quite ok but none of them solves the reason for the outbreak
On FaunaMarin.de

https://www.faunamarin.de/wp-conten...U_DINO_X_NEU_Anwendungshinweise_EN_220421.pdf

and here

You will find all necessary

The steps outlined there solved my issue without the use of DinoX.

My understanding is that DinoX is only there to help so you can implement the other corrective measures. DinoX is not a magic cure.

HI , thats the sense of the Manual and the sense of this product. We never say its a magic cure. Like every treatment it has its specific use and against most other companys we give solutions for problems without put the product on first stage. Happy to hear that you can get rid of the Dinos with our Manual rgds Claude
