Took a pic of Dendra while waiting to catch the coral beauty or a a three spot damsel that's being a bully. Still no luck capturing either. They are just too dang smart. Every other fish has been in the trap except these 2. The dang cardinal fish was sleeping in there for a couple days.

Dendra is still looking good. Fully open and showing off.

I tell others that have carnation corals up right, I can't do that, never mastered growing upright. Looking good

If I had to narrow it down I would have to say PLENTY of constant source of phyto with a dose of reef roids and marine snow with plenty of flow is what she likes. Also, with all that phyto my pod population must be crazy. She couldn't care less about the light. I stooped shadowing her a long time ago. All the south pacific dive video's I watched just showed tufts of carnations sticking strait up on the ocean floor with lots of light but tons of micro particles floating around like snow.

My pod population comes and goes, but always returns. Right now I can see pods

Here's the full line of tests:
Phosphate : 0.10
SG : 1.025
PH : 8.08
Alk : 8.8
Cal : 467
Nitrate : 20
Mag : 1500

I hate doing mag. I rarely do that one. I usually only test PH, Alk and Phosphate. PH and Alk in case I need to adjust Kalkwasser dosing.

Supposed to be going to the LFS where I got Dendra tomorrow. There was an orange carnation there. Maybe I'll grab it if no one has yet.

My wife wants to get a pair of black and white clowns for a tank I'm setting up for her. She bought that beautiful bi-color bubble tip anemone when we were in CA that should be shipped to us on the 7th. If he doesn't ship them I'll have my son gather a few of his fellow Marines and pay him a visit.
