I personally prefer the red male morph of lyretails, is that an unpopular opinion?
I have a red male. I never saw the purple one. Only on Live Aquaria.

I have a red male. I never saw the purple one. Only on Live Aquaria.
Mine was a dark purple when I got him but with no females in the tank for a while he faded out to a lavender color. Added a female and just started feeded chromaboost which they say brings the colors out, so we’ll see!
