Damsel only 29 gallon tank?terrible idea???

Would you consider mixed damsels? I have two clowns, a golden damsel which is yellow, a common blue devil and a blue and black damoise. They are in a 20L.

From what I've read, it's possible to do mixed damsels without issues, and saltnut's post above certainly gives hope that you could do it in a smaller tank (most people I've seen recommend 100+ gallons and/or unique tank setups).

In my very, unprofessional opinion, if you decide to try it, because they're all the same species I'd go with even numbers in the hopes that - if they get along normally - the aggression doesn't get too out of hand if they start breeding. That said, I've also seen 5+ damsels be the minimum recommended by at least one person who kept groups of damsels, so that may be something to keep in mind.
