I love the scape with the Stax Rock. I almost went with the same style you have gone with where they are spread out like substrate but I was worried about trapping detritus. How are you going to handle that?
I’m hoping the flow helps but I do expect that it will require a bit of maintenance. Time will tell. I plan on doing weekly water changes so I expect that I will be syphoning the rock floor.I love the scape with the Stax Rock. I put most of my Stax on eggcrate risers so there could be flow underneath. You have a lot of rock in there so that maintenance might not be too much fun. Have you epoxied that all together yet or is it just stacked loose?I’m hoping the flow helps but I do expect that it will require a bit of maintenance. Time will tell. Yes. Planning to draw up. I’ve heard that this could be a problem as well. It’s something I’ve got to work through. I don’t think drawing the water up is the problem. I think starting the pumps dry is the concern. I guess I should call eco tech and get their input before I glue things together.
. It wasn’t going to work. I moved two into the sump and the larger M1 into the electronics cabinet. What did they say?
