So I finally got the frame back from the paint shop. They did exactly what I needed to seal and rust proof the frame. I am beginning the equipment layout. Unfortunately, my custom lagoon tanks are still not shipped. It keeps getting pushed back by a week. So at this point, I can't really say when I'll have them and do the dry plumbing. My workshop is 45 minutes away from the house. I'm hoping to dry fit all the plumbing and then install all the electronics. I had to purchase a new sump this week because I accidentally cracked the first one I planned on using. I think the build quality was a little nicer on the first sump but the new Trigger Triton 44v2 has more flexibility and will be more suitable for the build.

This took a couple of hours. I still have a few stubborn spots. I'm wondering if I should use citric acid or maybe barkeepers friend. The white line across the top of the tank where the waterline was is what I'm trying to get rid of. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

What have you used, so far, to try to remove the line?

Just vinegar, water and a scraper.

That's what I thought but didn't want to make any assumptions. Straight vinegar should do the trick but the problem is with contact time as I'm sure it simply runs down the glass when you spray/wipe it on.

Many people have had great results using Barkeeper's Friend. However, I have never used it so I cannot speak about it personally. I do believe the active ingredient will not absorb into glass or silicone but would check if it has inactive ingredients that might he harmful.

This is coming along quite nicely!

Question - What are you doing for cable management behind the panel? Are you using an expandable sleeving or a plastic fold over type, that you may see on a vehicle wiring harness?

I’m still deciding. Behind the panel will most likely be neatly zip tied and that’s it. Similar to how it looks on the controller panel. The wires in the sump area will be hidden in pvc plumbing. I’ve done it that way on my last build. It was really neat and easy to manage. To me, the look If the wiring is as important as the look of the tank, even if you never see it. That being said, I’m not sure how this will turn out but I hope it works out. I own a Car Stereo business so I have a lot of experience with clean wiring.
