QOTD: What's the most insane reef tank that you've ever seen?

In person? A member of Boston Reefer's, Paul (reefkeeper2), opened his house up after a meeting for people to visit. His gorgeous tank was in a glass sun room connected to his house. It was in the middle of the room and you could walk around all four sides. Plumbing was in the center of the tank and went down through the supports into his basement.

He's replacing that tank now. Here's a pic of the sunroom and his new stand he's working on.

I'll start off. As I mentioned earlier, my first and favorite fish was a porcupine puffer that was about 4-5" long. I put it in a 36 gallon bowfront tank, which is basically a 20 long with a gut on it....yeah. It didn't work out so well and I lost the fish. I was upset for a while after he was gone.

Biggest mistake: buying a neglected set up as my first tank. Definitely overpaid and felt terrible when I lost a fish. Should have just started new but the hobby is rather overwhelming for newbies!

Bought a expensive fish and afraid it would die in QT. Then, put the fish directly to the DT. A few days later, ich were on all the fishes.
