That’s great! How about the QT process? I like to do a medicated QT, and obviously can’t have any rocks or anything for them, just pvc but I wasn’t sure if it would be suffice
Well to add more controversy... I use a oversized high quality UV sterilizer, rated for protozoa 180,000 microwatts. I ran the UV during a outbreak as well with great success.

I've tried QT, it's a lot of work and unless you QT every single thing that comes into your tank your still taking a risk. The other downside is the stress on the fish. I found anthias and butterflies just don't respond well to QT(in particular TTM). As I've said before, I've lost more fish QTing then just adding them in it takes a special some one to QT well.

UV and buy from a reputable supplier is my go to now. If you do QT there is plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum.

Interesting way to do it. If it works it works!
I’m currently doing the medicated QT, this is my second time around and it is sure a lot easier after being on here

I have two yellows, a purple, a gem, a sailfin, a hippo, a powder blue and a blue eyed Kole all in the same tank. No aggression. 210 gallon tank.

I also have a coral beauty, flame, flame back, keyhole and two swallowtail angels. All also happy and getting along well.
