Hi guys! So, I put together a stocking list for my tank. Id like some thoughts on how it looks. I put the Coral Beauty and the Hawkfish at the end because they're both more agressive...

2 Orange Clownfish
2 Black Clownfish

Yellow Longnose Butterfly Fish

Yellow Tang
Blue Hippo Tang
Convict Tang
Orange Stripe Bristletooth Tang

2 Royal Gramma
2 Bicolor Blennie
Striped Blennie
Sailfin Blennie

Rabbitfish
Coral Beauty
Longnose Hawkfish

The groups of clowns, blennies, and tangs would each all go in at the same time. A few questions:
1. The Tangs are all different genuses so am I right in figuring they're more likely to get along if they all go in together?
2. I've seen alot of posts that say the yellows don't like butterflyfish but they were all copperbands. How likely is the yellow to fight my butterfly, and is it better to have the butterfly in before the tangs?
3. Is adding 4 tangs to the tank too much at once?

Thanks

You should be fine with all of those gangs, they have differing body shapes as you said.

I can’t answer your question question about the butterfly but I think you should be fine
With those two

Are you doing coral? Coral Beauty’s are. Sometimes known to nip corals, it’s about a 50/50 risk that they will

You should be fine adding all the tangs at once, especially if they are all small.

Sorry it took so long to answer, it's been a busy few weeks... yes, there's gonna be corals. I read that it was a 50/50 split with the coral beauty so I'm hoping if he's well fed, he won't eat the corals... really good to hear about the tangs since my kids have been screaming for them since i told the. I was getting a reef tank lol...

Feeding well will help, but it’s still a risk. Good luck with your tank!
