I'm wondering if it is possible to use a thicker mesh with your tops, similar to the mesh that is used by Innovative Marine for their tank tops? I love your tops and I'm looking to replace my flimsy BRS cover on my Elos 120XL.

Hi. I tried to send a msg on your website, but likely this is a better forum for enquiring.
Do you send to Australia? Ridiculous question i know but find it frustrating to prepare to purchase an item online to only find that it'll only be posted to states of the USA.
Thanks in advance :)

Mine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I hope the box size on the Fedex site is wrong. It shows 44x22. It should be 48x24. We'll see.

Hi Brian, there is a little bow to your lid. The bigger the lid and the more central cutouts (overflow/feed door), the more it wants to bow when screening. Lexan/Polycarbonate is more flexible than acrylic but this is part of where it gets its extreme impact resistance and ability to not warp on the tank. Our standard is to keep this bow under 1/8" per side. There is a bit of a trade off as we don't want the screen too loose either. If your lid is pulled in more than this we are happy to rescreen it for you. We would cover the shipping costs. Send us an email if you would like to look into this. Note however, the gap seen at the middle is not all from the lid. Rimless tanks bow too so part of that gap you are seeing is from the tank itself. To check your lid specifically you would need to take it off the tank and set it on a level flat surface and look at the gap between the tabs.

I sent you a PM.

Hey folks! Just wondering if you were going to be at Reefapalooza NYC this year of if any of your lids might be on display. I'd like to order one for my CAD Lights Artisan II 100g but it would be great to see one in person first. Thanks!

PS - I tried emailing you through your site but couldn't get the contact form to accept the verification code. Tried a number of times but no luck... :(

How do you get an update? My 4 wks. comes up next week so curious.

Just shoot us a CRM request through the website or send an email to [email protected] with your name and/or order# and we will get you an update =).

The mesh on our tops is pretty durable and uses 1/4" spacing. We found this the 'best of both worlds' when it came to durability as well as minimal light loss. We don't have source info for thicker mesh, but it would likely require redesign of the spline channel to accommodate. We are happy to discuss a custom solution with you if this is needed for your project. Just shoot us a PM/CRM through website/email to [email protected]. If you have source for the mesh you want used we can incorporate it into a custom lid for you with an added design fee.

We do ship internationally, but strongly encourage group shipments of 3-5 lids for international orders to offset the shipping costs. 1 lid doesn't cost much less to ship than 3 and splitting that cost amongst friends/fellow club members is well worth it. For a RSR450/525XL sized lid the shipping can be $200-$300.

Pay no mind to the fedex sizing. That is a self fill figure for custom lids of your SF category.

Any updates on our lid? Haven't heard anything in a week since we got an email saying it was being processed.

Your lid had a special custom add-on that still needed to be cut. Your lid will ship today.

Unfortunately, no. We wanted to, but due to demand being extremely high right now we cannot spare the time/manpower for Reefapalooza NYC. We don't currently have any lids planned to be there, but if we happen upon an attending vendor that would like to display our lids, and have the time to send one, we will certainly let everyone know =)

Everyone who is considering buying a lid from Artfully Acrylic. A company's reputation isn't made by how they treat their customers before the sale is made, it's made by how they treat their customers after the sale is done. I had an issue with my order. Artfully Acrylic contacted me in a timely manner and took care of it without a hitch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend doing business with this company. BTW, their lids are awesome.

I just received my lid and it is beautiful. I have a cutout for the Neptune automatic feeder and a feeder cutout in the front of the lid. This is on a 120 gallon rimless and looks a thousand times better than the window frame lid that I made. It was well worth the investment.
