Cars have always been my second hobby next to Reef'n.

I recently sold my "toy" which was a built/modded STi that was fun but incredibly impractical and uncomfortable, also attracted a lot of unneeded attention.

I just bought a 2015 Chevy SS sedan which, IMO is one of best "sleepers" ever made, as not many would think there is a 6.2 liter LS3 from the C6 corvette under the hood, pretty rare and destined to be a collector's car in the future.

Beautiful Roadster, my parents old neighbor had one, kept trying to buy it from him, but the man wouldn’t budge, unfortunately the gentleman passed away, and the Son kept it.
Thank for the compliment @fltt
We sure know how to pick some expensive hobbies........Don Nice job on the Monte.

I know what you mean about Sti being uncomfortable, my buddy had one, that ride was stiff! he didn’t have it longer then a month, it was white as well, which is a hard color to find them in.
But that’s a Super Sweet upgrade! Can’t go wrong with LS3! Must be fun to drive.

What’s up R2Reefers! Any Car enthusiast on the forum? I’ve been working on this 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo for the last 11 years. It was pretty much a roller when I bought it, spent the last 9 months at a body shop. I had a custom Dark Olive Green Base, and a Really nice Glasirut Clear coat sprayed on this bad boy. Possibly getting a fuel injected Big Block after I get it back from the body shop. Planning to go for the Pro Street Modern look.

Nicely done! As an auto body tech, that is some quality work. That car probably has 40 to 50 hours in just the color sand and polish

Born and raised a gear-head. My dad owned an auto repair shop, and drag raced on the weekends. I went the auto body route because I was bored with gas and diesel mechanics. I have built many cars, but only do it as a profession now. Here is one my old man just got done restoring. All in house frame off, from wheels to interior and bumper to bumper. The haze is from the 20191102_155058.jpg 20191102_155118.jpg 20191102_155127.jpg reflection of the plastic sheeting hung over the car to keep dust out.
