What’s up R2Reefers! Any Car enthusiast on the forum? I’ve been working on this 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo for the last 11 years. It was pretty much a roller when I bought it, spent the last 9 months at a body shop. I had a custom Dark Olive Green Base, and a Really nice Glasirut Clear coat sprayed on this bad boy. Possibly getting a fuel injected Big Block after I get it back from the body shop. Planning to go for the Pro Street Modern look.

I have a 1957 semaphore oval VW bug I bought as a high school graduation present to myself in 1996... still not done. :( have moved 3 times since and it's just burried deeper in garage each time..

Any pictures? Just get that baby on the road. I drove the Monte Carlo painted gray primer for a while. I really enjoy driving the MC more then any other car, it forces you to be one with the car, and pay attention to every little sound the car makes.
plus you get so many thumbs up and compliments.

Love it! Love the color. Been into classic cars and trucks since I was a kid. I had a 49' Chevy Panel project a for little while but didn't get to finish it, couldn't put it in the garage and neighbor complaining to the city forced me to sell it. It was on the driveway and not a terrible eyesore or anything, just primer no rust. But I got to clean up the engine a bit and got it running. Also had a 56' Chevy 3100 Stepside but it too had to go before I could really make it nice. Maybe I'll try again once I own a home and can better accommodate such a project.

Not really a hot rod or anything but a fun project nonetheless was when I took a lawn tractor custom made a 3' wide fully hydraulic gannon box scraper for it. lol

I've currently got a 89' Dodge D150 I inherited from my grandfather when he passed. It doesn't sound like much but they clean up real nice. I pulled the motor out and rebuilt it, it's 100% stock right now but planning on shaving all the trim and lowering it slightly. I'd like it to come out something like below but mine's white.

Man that 49 panel is sweet! Yea your neighbor is a pain in da a**, I had my own personal experience with her when I bought those orange plate from you. Its shame you had to get rid of it, those are becoming harder to find.
That’s a clean looking Dodge, you don’t see those that often either.
that’s a bitchn tractor too, what’s a Gannon box scraper?

I love any type of cars, I would love a classic mustang like the 68 fastback from bullitt. classic European or British cars e type jaguar. I Love vintage Ferrari’s but I’ll never be able to afford one.

This is my baby though. Keeps me from getting speeding tickets.

Thank you, it will pretty much do anything off-road with ease, and drives down the highway just fine. It’s Been my daily driver for 13 years now, bought it 100% stock and modified it over the years to what is in the pictures.
