Oh, I have been known to sail the high seas when need be. I always like to support the folks that make the things I like but sometimes it's like they're begging me to throw up a VPN and do work. Give me a fair price without having to go through crazy subscriptions and I'm in, but man do they get out of hand with pulling everything behind so many pay walls.
Yep! It’s getting just as bad as cable was, almost the same price if you have a bunch of them and now they’re charging premiums to go ad free soon that won’t be an option

Yep, I can remember people being ridiculed online because they would predict that moving to the "pay for only the channels you want" model would get just as bad money wise as cable. Now we are seeing it happen. At least you can do like some and only subscribe to each one for a month or 2 and binge watch everything while you do have it.
Prior to Netflix, pirating was the biggest it had ever been. Then with the introduction of this more affordable, more convenient model, pirating dwindled drastically. Then studios started pulling everything behind their own app, their own paywall, etc until the new model of streaming everything you want from one general location with one fee was reduced to basically cable tv just delivered via internet instead on cable, and for more money. The studios have fought the voice of the market tooth and nail to try and deny any change for a long time now. I'm feeling more and more like flying the Jolly Roger these days, and I don't like that route.
I agree wholeheartedly and neither do I but they make it hard not to lol
