Yup! Had it chilling on the back porch until a month or so ago HEB had ribs on sale for $1.67 a pound. Hard to pass up two racks of ribs for $12. So, I loaded up the freezer and have been practicing. I figure it's the right time since if I screw them up, I'm not out much. However, after about 2-3 batches, I've pretty much got them down. You have to learn your smoker more than anything, same as a grill. Once you know how to use the tool you have, then you're right where you want to be!That was your Christmas present, right?

Nah it's a Z Grills pellet smoker. I use two smoke tubes while I'm smoking as well and they put out just as much smoke as a stick burner. Also, gotta use the Treager brand pellets. A lot of other ones give a chemical aftertaste. Theirs are made with 100% wood and you can absolutely taste the difference.What'd you get again? Pit Boss?
