These are my test results. Should I try switching back to the smaller wave maker?
Never make a change for one coral if the rest look happy. The only thing jumping out at me is your magnesium. I keep mine at 1400 which makes my torches, hammers and frogspawn very happy, it is a struggle keeping it there for me. Yours is extremely low. Doesn’t make sense, water changes should keep it around 1350 depending on the salt you use. My salt mixes magnesium to exactly 1350 and dosing keeps it up to 1400. Increasing your magnesium won’t effect your other corals.

Too much flow can cause then to stay closed, not enough flow can cause them to stay closed. When mine wanted more flow they started retracting their flesh into the top of the skeleton.

How do I raise it?
Add magnesium. I like Kent Tech M Magnesium. Easy to use and more potent for the price than a lot of the others but others might be a better blend of magnesium sulfate and magnesium chloride...

Ugh well I went ahead and switched back to the other wave maker I will try that first. I haven't done a water change in a little over two weeks but plan on doing one this weekend. However if you guys think it will help I can do one tomorrow.

I would simply move the coral. Can you post a video of the flow?

I have moved it all over the place and it never seemed to open all the way up. The newest ones haven't either except for the torch and it is near the front corner where I think would be the least flow.

I don't know if you dose Mg to the tank, if you do you can increase the dose but only little by little, any sudden change is not good, if you don't dose mg then Tim gave you a good product that you can use
