What causes that?Looks maybe like polyp bail out?
I don't think so it was in an area that I would think would be less flow.Could it be that he had too much flow?
It's the corals last effort to save itself, which means that the coral thinks that its going to die. What causes that?
Those don't look eaten, it looks like polyp bailout.Ok I don't know what to do! I removed the emerald crabs and the shrimp and today I come home to another coral eaten! Could it be the pincushion urchin or some of the hermit crabs or snails?
Polyp bailout, means the coral isn't happy with something - light, parameters, or flow.I think I found the head of it... which makes it worse because it's not eating it just ripping it off!
But why would it think that? It's the corals last effort to save itself, which means that the coral thinks that its going to die.
Looking at that picture, there's no flesh band. No flesh band means the coral is drawing itself into itself as much as possible. It is not happy, likely due to nutrients or something irritating it. Any signs of grey flatworms on the coral flesh?

Could too much flow also cause that? It hasn't opened fully since I put it in the tank. I have dipped all corals going into the tank in coral rx. Should I be doing something else? It's just the Hammers and torches that seem to be having issues.Looking at that picture, there's no flesh band. No flesh band means the coral is drawing itself into itself as much as possible. Are those the only euphyllia in the tank? If all euphyllia are doing bad, including after taking out suspects, then I suspect that it is euphyllia eating flatworms. Especially if all other corals are doing fine.Could too much flow also cause that? It hasn't opened fully since I put it in the tank. I have dipped all corals going into the tank in coral rx. Still learning what corals are what kind are what but here's a list of what Tim helped with when I was trying to ID them. Are those the only euphyllia in the tank? Euphyllia is any frgospawm, hammer, torch, or a cross like a frammer (frog+hammer). I will take a look back at your list of your recent orders to see if there are any other euphyllia.Still learning what corals are what kind are what but here's a list of what Tim helped with when I was trying to ID them.

That's what Tim ID them as for me.
They seem to be doing good so far the torch really seems to be doing good the others seem to be adjusting still. I am feeding my dogs right now when I get done I will run test. I keep thinking about anything I have changed recently and all I have done is I replaced one wave maker with a bigger one because I thought I didn't have enough flow, I started feeding phytoplankton and coral cane and another coral food I forget the name of, and I turned off my protein skimmer because someone said it was keeping my tank too clean. These are the euphyllia you got in your most recent order. How are they doing?
Unfortunately I agree with a polyp bail out. Could be the increase flow. I keep my torches in a little higher flow and frogspawn and hammers in less so they just look like they are giggling. They seem to be doing good so far the torch really seems to be doing good the others seem to be adjusting still. These are my test results. Should I try switching back to the smaller wave maker?Unfortunately I agree with a polyp bail out. Could be the increase flow. I keep my torches in a little higher flow and frogspawn and hammers in less so they just look like they are giggling.
IMO Mg is a little low, they like more near 1400These are my test results. Should I try switching back to the smaller wave maker?
