I have adjusted the continuous dose from CalRX to coencide with daily ph swings and alk consumption. The co2 dose to the reactor will auto adjust for the increase and decrease of flow maintaining a steady calrx pH

After spending a ton of money on what I thought was the best . I was let down in a financial way . I am old school and went back to all Lifereef equipment . Using the skimmer and a custom calcium reactor . There isn't anything that can go wrong without a simple part replacement. Here is my question can you afford a spare high end controller to keep on the shelf whey your high dollar unit goes down , and for how long to get a replacement part .

Could you use a DOS to do the CO2 dose? How much Co2 need to be supplied per minute to achieve a stable ph. I looked up what 10 pounds of CO2 was in Liters and its about 4.45 liters, so if you are dosing on a kamoer is your Flow rate less under 10ml a min?

You don't have to change the speed, you can change the flow rate, there's what i have for my slowest & fastest flow rates on a fixed 4.2L/h peri on my carx now

The masterflex i believe can be hooked up to vary speed tho
Can you explain when your program and when the pump turns on and off?

Yes, you may be able to achieve the same with a dos, but there were a couple of issues if I remember correctly, one being the size of the tubing and the pump. The larger tubing will result in a much higher flow rate than desired. You may be able to replace it with a smaller diameter tube to achieve the same results. But that brings us to problem #2. Neptune doesn't allow the dos pumps to be used as continuous dosing pumps. They can only be set up to dos a regulated amount on a set time interval. it doesn't allow continuous running with the adjustability of speed.

The pumps were purchased directly from the manufacturer for OEM use.
