How much time does that growth represent on the superman? I just got this from Adam so am wondering, thanks.

I got my piece from Adam as well. I have fragged it a few times, so it lost it's nice round shape and I am sure it would of grown better if I just left it alone. I cut a piece off to put it in my new tank under leds to see if it looks any different. I have seen your tank, so I am sure your growth will blow mine away.

This is a pic from March of last year and I took a side pic today to try and show you the growth. If i had to guess I would say it grew 4.5" out and was 4.5" wide before I cut it.

What kind of light you have yours in I read somewhere that treated like a LPS but I don't know if I believe that you're Superman that is

I have it in roughly 425 par. I am not sure why you would want to treat it like an lps with lower light. Maybe with lower light you get more green and less of the red.

lol. Not normally. The coral in the center was about 3 inches to the left but a turbo snail kept knocking it off, so I moved it to where it is now, which is a more flat part of the rock. Then the coral to the right started to get knocked off and that one was right on the edge of a rock, so I moved it closer to the other one. Huge mistake all around but I was running out of room.

I have learned through time that I need a good 5 - 6" between frags to maybe not have an issue.

Also, that middle coral is the TCK Balrog. I will be interested to see how it looks when it grows out to compare it to the WWC After party frag I have. As of right now, I feel the balrog looks like the WWC After party pic, even with the light purple base. Here is a pic WWC posted of the After party.

For the corals touching? I guess let the winner take over. I will cut the branches from running directly into each other but for the encrustment, there isn't much I can do.

Didn't know if you were going to cut the Balrog out to give it some room. By the way that's amazing growth on the superman for a year. I went looking around in my tank and finally found my frag. Cant wait until it looks like that

TCK New Dragon

I talked to Dan from TCK and he said as it grows the body should turn more red. It is being shaded from the JKR Rainbow above it, hopefully as it grows and gets out the shade it, the tips turn more yellow.

Wow, It is really knobby with deep colors. Nice piece!
