You're too funny, lol.Good lord!!! My eyes they burn!!
Thanks!Wow. Nice SPS.
At the start of summer I noticed my water temp climbing because one of my tanks being in the garage. I bought a JBJ 1/3 hp chiller and it was working great. It would run about 45 mins to cool down my 240 gallons of water down. Since adding another 50 gallon tank I feel like the chiller struggles now. It takes 1 1/2 hrs to cool down the tanks now. What do you use to keep that tank cool? Are you running a chiller?
Sexy corals orange passion
It for sure is one of the nicest. It's been out a while and people are still always looking for a frag.I still think this is the nicest SPS out there. There is nothing I like more. I gotta get my hands on another piece of this.
Thanks! When all bulbs are on it drowns out some of the orange and it's probably like most other orange passions. Mine didn't do anything for a long time. One day it woke up and started growing. I wish the frag I cut would do something already. I thought it would encrust fast because its acclimated to my system but nope, it hasn't done anything at all. I do notice the older polyps are more orange than new growth.I agree the SC OP is a must have. Yours is honestly the nicest I’ve seen. Mine is asleep because I moved it to be atop one of the fingers of the hand in my tank.

Thanks!

It depends on what it does to my electric bill running so long, lol. The chiller turns on at 80 and turns off at 78.8.Are you thinking about upgrading? What temp do you run your tank at?
Thank you!Ufffffff fireeeeeeee piece right there
I will for sure look for the increase in my electric bill. I didn't have a choice but to buy a chiller as my tank was getting up to 81 without one and the summer wasn't even fully here then. If you plan to buy one wait until a holiday if you can as 10% off makes a big difference. I also choose the highest temp I was comfortable with so my chiller doesn't have to work so hard.Wow so you run your tank on the warm side also. That's good to hear. If you remember to keep track of your electric bill let me know. I've been tossing around the idea of a chiller since summer hit hard. But it's hard to justify the $800 and increased bill
Tried running some fans on the tank?? I run two small USB desktop fans over the sump on my tank (with a 250w halide) and my temp is rock solid at 24.8-25C (76.6-77F) and during summer I get less than a degree of variationWow so you run your tank on the warm side also. The fans for sure help! I was using a giant box fan and that's what help keep my temp to what it was but it still couldn't keep up. It also made me evaporate 5 gallons a day.Tried running some fans on the tank?? I'm using fans and I can keep my tank at 85.5-90.0 at the warmest but I'm using 3-4 gallon a day. I was trying to cut evaporation costs. But I can make a lot of water for the chiller cost
Now that’s a H-O-T tank!
