That's what I do over my sump. I use expanded pvc board. 2 1/4" screws to hold it than mount everything on that.
Little pricey but you can find scraps
Hmmm. Reading now...

A day that I have waited on for many years and now that it is here, I am not really excited. I will miss my coworkers. But, on the bright side, the office is less than two minutes from my house. I will be dropping in from time to time, disrupting their work. :)

Oxydator...talk to me. It peaks my interest.
It uses a higher percentage food grade Hydrogen Peroxide (diluted 35% to something around 6%-9%). The stuff you get in the drug store is 3%. It reacts with a catalyst and slowly releases oxygen into your tank water. There are a few people on here that use them, but mostly something you would see across the pond. @najer may have more knowledge on these than me. I do have one for my tank, but of course it is dry like everything else. This is where I got mine. There is a brief description about their function on that page :
