I have used super glue instead of stitches a number of times.
+1 for super glue In auto factories, think millions of pieces of raw sheet metal. Of course electric tape and a wad of toilet paper in a pinch.
I gotta go with the semi circle type of wall for a cube, lots of holes to see through to the back or corners, and tall with various peaks.

That's what we were thinking too. Lagoon style, but taller?

Think long term, Me thinks the tank should be the focus but that's me. Will you be scraping the back glass, or letting it go purple and can you change it if needed?
Anyhow how goes the stand ? did you get it yet?

Nothing will be permanent. Long term planning. Coralline is always an issue. We do plan to scrape it. The stand will be here around the end of this month. Trim and painting can be done in a week.

Let's talk about waterproofing the stand. It's going to be white inside and out. Also I've heard of people using a shower pan liner. Any input is appreciated.
Personally I'd get something marine grade, good enough for a boat.
Duralux is a good product.

I’m doing my nightly “catch up“ reading of this wonderful thread. @Katrina71, I was still giggling about “Jenny Craig”, “Sheldon” & the mushrooms romance, when I hit the camping trip with 44 scouts. Maybe I need a drink, but I hit post #671 and fell apart. My husband deer hunts, and this pesky bear keeps coming out to bother him. I can’t wait to tell him that he’s just a soft taco in the bear world:p:)
