I have used super glue instead of stitches a number of times.
That is what it was designed for, I believe. Closing wounds on the battlefield.

One of the original uses for super glue, my mom used to use it all the time when we were kids.

Then it got pricey as we got older and were hurting ourselves more so she moved on to duck tape

I am brand new to saltwater. My son got an 8 gallon bio cube. I know this is too small, but I promised I'd try. I have 1 piece of dead coral for decor and that's it. We hope to have 2 tiny fish and maybe 2 shrimp. We also like hermit crabs. What equipment, substrate would you guys suggest? I'd like to use easy (forgiving) live macro algae to help balance this tank. Please be kind with responses. I have been called names elsewhere and was referred here to learn.
Id recommend live sand, live rock, some snails, a shrimp...test it and add slowly

I'll never be able to sleep tonight. I've been looking at scapes. There are some amazing tanks on the forum.

You know, I've been doing the exact same thing for my build, been staring at scapes all night long, particularly the floating landscapes...

I am not sure how I would scape a cube. Never had one. My scape in my nano took about 10 minutes. I picked up the first four rocks in the top of my Pukani rock that has been soaking in salt water for 4 years to use in my 125. I just set them down and that was that. :p

Another cool route to go, is order live rock from tampa saltwater and let all the life in those rocks do what they do. Almost a way to stock a nano, lol. But beware of pests that may come with it. I’d go with 5 lbs. dont let anyone tell you a nano/pico is too hard for beginners. I was doing bimonthly water changes on mine and it ran great
