AH thanks lol now I understand! well , my opinion is: only one pod finicky eater per tank so if you want a mandarin, EVEN if he's alone you need to let the tank mature.
Another thing you SHOULD do , you should go visit a tank that harbor a mandarin for a long time and investigate on the reason why it was successfully kept in the tank.
Now for the bread, indeed it is sourdough :) I just tried to put lesser water than I use to , and for a 3 hour baking I normally use cold water but I did heat it up ... had to add a little water as it was WAY too dry too hahaha

That looks amazing!! Is that a background, how did you get that effect?? So cool :)
Yes, there’s a background light that comes with the system :) it’s color therapy, supposedly. To help relieve stress, relax ect. I have it purple right now

They have just the back light too. CURRENT USA Serene Aquarium Visual and Audio Aquatic Experience Kit | LED Background Light (72")
Ah ok, so there is a static clean film that goes on and then the light makes it change colors. The tank is pretty close to the wall, not sure how to fix this problem lol

Thank you! Rachel designed everything I just take care of it ;)

thank you!! Those plants grow so fast, I’ve just let them take over lol
Sometimes taking over is best! I’m hoping my couple stems grow nicely so I can chop and replant :) the needle leaf java fern will be replaced eventually. I’m hoping for some sunset hygrophylia, and cabomba furcata.

Mine is also close. The light bar is about an inch wide, and attaches to the plastic rim with suction cups like a heater would. As long as you have help, it’s not so bad.

There is just nothing quite like a fully grown in planted freshwater (@najer has come pretty close though!)

long term what’s the plan for the phosphates?
I need to see where they stay at naturally. I was dosing nutrients to keep them above zero and then pulled the chaeto when that was not working. After that nutrients shot up. Did 2 25 percent water changes in a week and got them to a manageable level. Nitrates stayed under control but phosphates are staying high. I think maybe the rocks soaked up the no4 when it was high and are releaseing it now.
