However, we have heard from store owners and hobbyists

Sorry quoting what you said, your product is probably a great food but I am in England so I doubt I can get it, apart from food content it can in no way be compared to live phyto, people that want the benefits of live phyto are probably not just after a different food.

We do sell our phytoplankton products into the UK. https://seahorsebreeder.co.uk/store/en/136-instant-phyto-concentrate-feeds. This company primarily sells our non-viable algae for aquaculture because animals like rotifers and brine shrimp don't need live algae to grow and be enriched. They don't have our Phyto-Feast Live, but they could probably get it in. Just letting you know either way. It's been nice chatting with you.

I have had products from them, oxydators, as I maintain your product is just a food without the benefits of being live, peace out, have a great new year.

Keep in mind that it might end up costing you more to grow your own than it would be to buy a bottle from us and pay shipping. If you end up spending more that $40 in six months growing your own phytoplankton, you would have been better off buying it from us and getting way more variety and biomass for your money. But, growing live phytoplankton can be very rewarding. Sorry that our shipping costs are such a let-down.
I believe your in Cali that's a heck of trip for overnight. That's to be expected.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm wanting to learn from you guys. I'm excited and scared to death about the new tank.
Bulk reef supply does some pretty good videos on nano tanks. Some have gotten by without a skimmer, make sure you are using reverse osmosis filtered water or distilled water, never use tap water it usually has metals chlorines and ammonia.
My first tank had 2 hang on back filters from Walmart and it did pretty well for many years. The live sand is a must. It will speed up the cycling. Don't add any fish for a while just the crabs I'll find some videos and post links

After seeing all this talk about phyto, I wanna try out several different ones and see how my tank responds to each, and how they compare to each other. If I do it, I’d need some suggestions on phyto a to try.
@living_tribunal
Gifted me a bottle of algae barn ocean majik phyto. My tank loved it but I do want to try the Reef Nutrition next to see if I can tell a difference.

I read some fancy words about my Goni “continuously filtering phytoplankton out of the water column” and yea. Bought some Phyto Feast.
@Reef Nutrition, I laughed so hard when you said it was Coca Cola you were drinking! But well done, it sold me :)

Not sure what’s actually happening in my tank, but I know that it stays CLEAN, my nutrient levels stay really low (.03 phosphates and undetectable nitrates last time I checked) and my algae barely grows at all. Started the tank in early February and still have minimal coralline. If it’s not live phytoplankton consuming those nutrients...what is? I feed 2-3x a day for my corals, and twice a day for fish.

@najer my good sir, the only conclusion i can make is that the stuff works!
