I can't wait until I go to a automated system. It'll be a while

I may have to buy one of these. I'm getting tired of looking thru a refractor. What is the report on these? Are they fairly accurate?

love mine. It is the best test equipment I seen

I've had it 14 hrs and I love it LOL
Checked salinity in my brute can, office tank and living room tank within 2 minutes.
They all match my refractometer readings.
There are some threads on R2R about these, they tend to be as accurate as the green milwaukee that is twice the price.
One drawback is calibration solution which users recommend calibrating once a month.
It comes calibrated and with extra 4 packs of fluid so you're good to go out of the box for 5 months.
The solution is $1.05 per packet or $26 for a 25 pack.
The green Milwaukee isn’t very accurate.002 in either direction. Hanna is way more accurate and more consistent. I haven’t calibrated mine except when I accidentally hit cal. It’s been over 2 months with no cal and clean in very bad tap water when I remember but it didn’t effect readings until weekend it was .001 off. I would say it is pretty forgiving

Holy cow this is incredibly smooth whiskey... and from what my brother in law was telling me, incredibly rare. And yes, it's better with a little water.

Good stuff!

You're the third person I know that got a bottle for Christmas.

I am so lost again with my favorite thread. I hope that all the Katrinarinos had a great holiday. While I loved seeing all of the families, and sharing my daughters first Christmas, my favorite part was this painting my sister made for my wife and I. She continues to surprise me with her talent.

She's truly talented
Amazing painting, I'd spend some good coin framing it.

We will be. She paints on hardwood furniture grade plywood for some of the more detailed stuff. The last painting she did for me I mounted on top of an undersized frame so that people could see that it was a painting and not a picture. This one I will take to the local framing house and get it done proffesionally.

About two months ago (Or about 600 pages ago lol!) We had a brief conversation about our dream tanks. Katrina had expressed her dreams of a 93 Gallon Cube tank and how it would probably never come to be. So, a few (Well, more than a few) of us decided to make that dream a reality and Order her a Custom 93 Gallon Cube from Miracles Aquariums.
That is so awesome! Lpoking forward to that build thread!

Looks to be a very clean tank
Thank you! @Robin Haselden shared a link recently that I think explains why. I dose live Phyto Feast every day in a very small dose, which is not exactly doing what I thought it was (coral food!). Apparently that is out competing my algae and preventing it from growing. There’s actually more algae now than there has been in a couple of months, but I think it’s because of how old my bottle is (the phytos aren’t alive anymore). Cant come up with any other explanation, I don’t have a skimmer or a fuge, and would expect the 14k MH to grow quite a bit of algae. My coralline barely even grows at all.
