@Magellan You are absolutely right that ca and Alk will delpete each other when dosed separately. I used to know an really good way of explaining it but I'd have to search it again. Just know that it's true.

Corals also use Ca and alk in perfect balance. One of each, no more no less(yes I just tired in Star Wars to reefing). When doing, you want to use equal parts, as long as your 2 part is meant to be dosed in equal parts. Example, Red Sea pre mixed liquid in the bottle is balanced. Red Sea powder is not, the calcium is 3 times as strong as the alk.
Perfectly said, also could add with price and ease of use is what makes the ESV b-ionic 2 part so popular.

He’s not lying! It was consistently within about a 300 pt range...

I put the part one in the left side of the sump, and a couple minutes later put part 2 in the right side. The way it’s divided, it can only mix inside the tank.

I can only dose straight in the tank.

Interesting article... may be looking into picking up a Hanna Nitrite checker, iodine is one of the elements I had to dose from my last ICP test.

Stick heads seem to be the big thing right now... I'm sure theres some killer LPS tanks still lurking around here somewhere.

I believe there is a clear correlation of a common insecure masculinity measure and the number of polyps your coral has.

Now correlation is not causation but I prefer my coral with 10 polyps or less.

They won’t, they’re probably eager to post pics of their 1/10th inch polyp extension.

This does bring up something I’m probably going to do.

I left too much space behind my rockscape (really agitating) and I’m running out of bed space in the front of the tank.

I’m going to remove these two vertical tunnel things to free up space. What do y’all think?
