I would have thought bottomed phosphates.

Well done. Happy sps right there
I mean it was 85 degrees !!!! For over 2 months. No idea how I didn’t lose a fish...had a fire shrimp and cleaner shrimp make it through that as well. the only SPS that was in the tank was this little cactus but he lived it too, as did 2 hammers, a mushroom, a Kenya leather and a green paly. It convinced me I was the worst reefer ever and I took a long time to get any confidence back.

I know for sure my tank is fine without it...at least for 2 weeks :). Might have forgotten to add my chemipure blue back...
I just threw out my Chemipure elite in the nano... my neon green rock nem has been looking pastel green. Odd thing is I have algae growing also I need to take care of. No idea where my nutrients are, probably should test those. Maybe just change out all the water? Its only like 15 gallons.

Try feeding it the coral pellet food that @living_tribunal uses

Got some top down sps shots during my wc last night. Ca is slowly climbing, up to 340 now! Hard to get a good pic of the JF Burnin Banana, the polyps retract as soon as I move the hood.

Very pretty.

I wish I could keep those things. Every time I try I end up losing them to this or that. I need to be more consistent with water changes. I know, not everyone dies water changes. I've tried not doing them, it doesnt work. After a few weeks everything goes down hill even tho tests come back normal. I force myself to do an water change(even tho we hates it) and everything perks up.

Just a little tip here guys , these days we see a lot of people with 'frag plugs'
The problem with those is that some people simply leave them in a hole becose it's 'convenient' wich I agree it is, but corals are not meant to live on moving rocks , they like to be on solid ground.

Thank you!! The trace elements that get replaced in your water changes won’t show up on your tests. (See: the triton method). That’s why water changes are necessary for everyone not willing to give Triton all their $$. Just keep a regular WC schedule (every 10 days?) and I bet you can keep whatever you want :)

If you take a picture with your cellphone , aim at what you want to picture touch it once with your finger on the screen and the phone should autofocus ... sometimes if youre too close aljust back up a bit to help the phone
That is on the side against the wall. I literally just guessed where it was to get it in the frame.
