True. I keep forgetting how much more efficient they have become.

They are still more wattage for sure, just nowhere near the wattage of the iwaki Reeflo Panworld setups... it certainly depends on how the closed loop is setup I think as well...

We are going to mix 325 gallons in a batch more than likely. So the dart or larger is almost a necessity.

Yeah... my mixing station is going to be about 50 orso gallons, 100 if needed (Dual 50 G tanks). I'm just a tad short of your monster ;Hilarious

Sooo, my betta finally arrived... all the way from a breeder in Indonesia. Hahaha, cant get Indo corals but I got an Indo betta. :D Shipped out of Indonesia to Texas on the 23rd, and shipped out of Texas on the 30th. Little guy been around the world in a week and a half. Paid out my nose for a betta, but I've never seen this color here or half the colors that breeder has.

Here's the vendor photos. It's still acclimating, the water was a little cool. It's a "Fancy copper" halfmoon plakat.

Ive got 4 spots of GHA in my tank right now. 4!!! Can you believe that...
I am trying to get some algae in my tank. I am thinking of seeding with some gha. I lost my first reef animal in this tank and I believe it is because it was too 'clean'. My emerald crab died 2 days after moulting(sp?).

Just go to petco and buy something. Anything will do.

Crabs frequently die during or right after a molt. Land hermits are the same.

Agree! I think it’s a thing for anything that molts. My fire shrimp molted and disappeared a couple months ago. It’s a very stressful time for them. (It was almost certainly my fault, I had had a salinity swing a few days prior). Nothing too serious but it definitely stressed out the tank, and that little bit extra was too much for him.

Spiders do as well. Molting is extremely stressful. A spider molts not just external but internal as well. I'm not sure if crabs are the same
