This tank was absolutely massive. It's got an entire tunnel system under it you can walk thru. The French angel was every bit of 16-18" long.

Different species like to live in different areas. Maxima and Crocea really needs to be up on a rock where it can protect its bissal opening. Smaller clams are also heavily dependent on phyto and less so on photosynthesis for food.

#1 killer of small clams: starvation

#1 killer of large clams that die mysteriously overnight: bristle worms.

Make sure your clam is on rock where it can protect its bissal opening.

I’m pretty sure my clam was starved (╯︵╰,)

Had a pot going last night. A few smelled the coffee and came in my office and emptied it before 12:30a. Made new flavor: salted caramel flavored. Was fantastic. Tonight- vanilla bean flavored

They do fine in our tanks, I just want to learn about the different types. I got some really pretty ones for Andrew at the Expo.
