Hello everyone, like any new reef hobbyist, I’m new to battling ick, I know ick is an infection that mostly appears on stressed tangs and spreads to other fish. I currently have a blue hippo that I think is showing signs of ick, it’s still eating and acting normal, just breathing a little faster than usual I think, but I wonder what is the best way of tackling this issue. In the main tank I have invertebrates. I do have a bare 35gal tank with an extra heater, overtop filter, a Fluval light and some ick treatment. I know copper is a form of treatment but I have no clue how to deal with it. The blue hippo started seeing its reflection on the tank and started flaring up and trying to attack it, thats what I think stressed it. Will herbal medicine and algae with garlic help the hippo fight it off without having to quarantine it? I’m honestly scared to quarantine it, I don’t know if ammonia spikes or any other factors in the qt can kill it fast
