Updates! I really believe its mucus as NO OTHER fish has gotten ANY white spots… every time i change water they immediatly go away in 12-24hrs (all of thrm) and come back slowly in the course of 7 days ONLY in the hippo tang…

9 more days of the fallow period… i believe once in the main DT tank, low nitrites and nitrates, everything will be better maybe?

currently its been IMPOSSIBLE to lower nitrates in the 45gal holding tank… i do 80% water changes and they still build up.

amoni 0.00
Nitrite 1.0
Nitrates OVER 100ppm every 7 days

after 85% water change everything gets better but just for 2-3 days… then they are back up again…
Over 75ppm

I can’t explain why that tank is building up nitrate so quickly - crowded with lots of food going into it, but still - that is a lot of nitrate!

Me neither! Inhave no idea…

Feed 2 times a day.
NO SKIMMER
NO SUMP
NO REFUGIUM…

2 Tidal filters (tidal 35 and tidal 75) with coarse sponge and polishing pad inside… apart from that….
Normal dosing of microbacter 7 as per instructions… amonia reads 0 so i know we have bacteria but Nitrites have NEVER gone below 1.0 and nitrates just skyrocket…. I am really urgent to put them back to the DT…..
