Thanks! I haven’t managed to screw it up too bad yet.nice... that tank came a long ways since 2018!
Thank you very much!Wow gorgeous! Can tell alot of time and care went into this. Bravo sir!
Thanks Adriaen! Your tank looks a lot better than mine did after a few months. This tank is really hitting its stable and mature phase. Took a few years. I know I’ve said it before, but I have a coworker and buddy that’s been doing this for 15-16 years successfully. With out his help and constant supply of free frags to learn on and make mistakes on without destroying my budget, I'm not sure I would have succeeded.Your tank is super sick! I'm a little jealous
You did a great job anyway! No need for modestyThanks Adriaen! Your tank looks a lot better than mine did after a few months. This tank is really hitting its stable and mature phase. Thanks! Those have been in my tank since the beginning and luckily have not run wild and become invasive. They do add a lot of nice movement.Love the look of the long lashes. Beautiful !
nice grab on the 5 stage, can't wait to set mine up in the next week. Just curious, are you using the same Kessil you started with back in 2018? Finally looking into lights and I see a lot of 'my x brand of led light stopped working'. Kessils seem to be great but I wonder about their longevity vs cost.
I will look into them! I'm definitely going to do a hybrid of some sort. I want a dimming option for the t5's if possible but it's not a deal breaker. Two 36" fixtures is a strong consideration. The radion xr15's look pretty nice and while the kessil a360's k great they are super spendy... But I could add them in slowly to spread the painThe kessil I bought in 2018 is still running strong. I bought that one used as well, so not sure how old it truly is. I do run 2 of the 160s now. One was definitely not getting it done. I love the look of kessils, but on deeper and larger tank I would definitely run them with a T5 hybrid. I read great things about the reef builders photon v2+. 2 of their 32” lights would fit a 180 nicely.
Thanks Retro! I really do appreciate that! This one fell off my watch thread.. your tank looks fantastic man! Reminds me I need to give my Biocube some love
Some pics from yesterday. I also just received a 5 stage BRS ro drinking water system and add on DI canister with dual tds meter. I have been using a small 4 stage aquatic life RO buddie that has been doing great. But my wife had mentioned that she wanted a drinking water filter system and I saw a great chance to upgrade. Hopefully I can find some time over the next few weeks to get that installed.View attachment 1612460View attachment 1612461View attachment 1612462View attachment 1612463View attachment 1612464View attachment 1612465View attachment 1612473View attachment 1612476View attachment 1612477View attachment 1612478View attachment 1612479
