Would it be logical to suspect that because this particular coral does so well under 65k that perhaps it's a coral found at more shallower depths whereas many come from depths that are more in the blue range of the spectrum?

I did likely put it too bright in my tank. Not sure I may need to move it down a bit.

Nice looking frag!!!

I have mine down low to start out. Going to move it up slow.

Thanks again for the advice, Andre! A couple frags I had that were on the edge are now heading towards recovery.

Great to hear that.
It's unbelievable sometimes corals can turn around literally over night, as long it only one thing that's missing :)

For those that have a frag of this;

How much light are you giving yours? Mine has gotten a bit darker in color. I'd say kind of a redish/pink color in person. It also hasn't encrusted at all. It's definately still a healthy frag for sure. Just curious where everyone is placing theirs. Here's a pic I just took of my frag.

Here is a pic of mine. It doesn't seem to have grown much at all. It is under an 8 bult ati with one SB reef bar. The light is 17" off the water and the tank is 10" deep. I don't know the par.

I have one as well.
Looked pretty bright the first weeks now a bit more ..... ok .... I would say.

Pretty high in the tank and was assuming it need light in the 450-550 par range.

Not grown much yet but start to look like a healthy frag now.

Will monitor the brightness but guess it would do better with less light.

Looking good! Mine seems to have stalled out. The color and size are identical to my last post. Don't want to move it again so I'm just waiting it out.
I did not move it as well. Mostly 550PAR and doing great. It came pretty pale so I can't complain.
