They would be more... flat if that makes sense? not as variable but I dont believe they would decrease unless your tank was too large for just a XR15 to cover
I have 2 360Ws on a reefer 250 but was thinking of upgrading to 2 radion XR15s but only if I'd see a PAR increase lower in the tank

what do you keep nitrates and phosphates at
Trates: 5-10(really aim more for 10)
Phates: .025

We can pretty much tell when someone hasn't fed the tanks over the weekend

400 is really high - most can’t sustain over 350

yeah thats why it's bare right now.. had a couple that couldnt take it.. my walt Disney is up there and loves it.. growing and coloring up nicely.. i would not say its 400 all the time its pretty much the wwc radion light schedule where it has whites for like 6 hrs and then mostly all blues for 6 hrs

What testing kit's do y'all recommend for phosphates? I only have the API kit and it starts as low as .25. Tank is a softie dominated mixed reef.

only one i like for phosphate is the hannah ULRange phosphate checker... just so easy and accurate in the low ranges compared to most kits

We had 3 XR15s on our display in the store to get the coverage, I would say 2 XR30s or 3 ReefLED from Red sea would be optimal for an SPS only 250

but if it ain't broke don't try to fix it!

He is talking about a reefer 250 thats like 65 gallons..

i have 2 radion xr30's on my reefer 350 and have intensity peak at 45% on polyp lab settings and still get 350 par at top with diffusers

I like the the edit! Thanks for that :). Im going to find a PAR meter to borrow before doing anything but I like the idea of maybe just adding some T5s. Thanks for all the responses guys

@TopShelfAquatics - whats the difference between the Mile High and Sunburst latistella ? What makes Sunburst costlier ? Much more pronounced deeper yellow tips ?
Sunburst is wayyyyyy nicer once it settles in. The colors are crazy bright with the pinks on it and it grows slower

We've been known to go a little overboard sometimes....
