Just curious- what do you guys ‘feed’ your SPS?

i use benereef/brightwell amino's

Billy is one of the easiest fastest growers BUT its a bit more expensive. Most newer people dont like to practice with $100++

Just curious- what do you guys ‘feed’ your SPS?

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS of fish poop. We dont target feed(or one unlucky farm guy would have to spend way too much time with a turkey baster) but we do feed the fish heavily frozen once a day and pellets throughout the day via auto feeder. We have some very big vlamingis and sailfin tangs. They're great poopers!


BIG EDIT: WE ALSO DOSE FOR NITRATES AND PHOSPHATES. THE FISH WOULD BE LITTLE FOOTBALLS IF WE FED THEM ENOUGH TO KEEP AN ACRO TANK A LITTLE DIRTY

what about Optimus prime? i got a spot picked out on top of my rockwork if it can handle the par.. probably about 400 on radions?

They would be more... flat if that makes sense? not as variable but I dont believe they would decrease unless your tank was too large for just a XR15 to cover

400 is really high - most can’t sustain over 350

i doubt it.. really depends on what settings up put on the radions.. but in general no
