Speaking of lighting I was curious what everyone’s opinions would be if I have an AI Prime HD currently on a 28g setup but also was given a free G2 xr30 Pro. Should I switch? No corals yet until this order of mainly LPS and Softies come

Personally I would switch but would light acclimate for a few weeks when you switch. I'm running 2 AI Hydra 26HD on my 30g right now. If you intend to grow acros I think the tank would benefit from more light.

Borrow a PAR meter and get one of those puppies on there! It'll give you factual numbers vs you having to guess whats what. They're great just have some hotspots(they resolved those issues with the gen 4s) you can also put a diffuser if you think its an issue.

Appreciate all the feedback from everyone today. Will try to find a PAR meter. I do believe the diffusers are on it already so sounds like a no brainer
