I like it a lot but I need something to get some movement down low now.

Joey I've got a jebao wp 25 you can have. There's just one catch: it stopped working.

It was in my old tank and ran flawlessly for 2 years. However, when I tore the tank down a few weeks ago, I gave everything a good vinegar bath and scrubbing. Well, after that, both my wp 10 and wp 25 stopped working for some unknown reason. I was able to get the wp 10 running again, but I've had no luck with the wp 25. The wp 10 is what I'm using in the QT. I didn't plan on using the wp 25 again anyhow.

You know where I live, so if you want to come get it and tinker with it......it's all yours.

Well we lost power here in West Knoxville today. Happily (surprisingly) I set my plumbing and water levels right and nothing overflowed. When power came back on, everything started up and flowing like clockwork.

Replaced my pump with a DC pump yesterday and am happy with he flow I'm getting through he sumo and the surface agitation it gives me.

Question: My hammer tentacles are quite a bit longer than most hammers that I see and quite a bit longer (2 inches total) than when I bought it. About 10 of the tentacles stretch out to at least 3 inches. Does anyone else have this happen? What causes it? Should I be concerned or do I need to just intensify the lights?

I know these could be sweeper tentacles. There's nothing close to it yet. Should I try spot feeding it?

Joey I just saw this post. Yes, most likely sweeper tentacles, I wouldn't be concerned. Everything else looking OK?

Did you get the Jebao running?

I did not get it running. I sent it to a guy that is going to tinker with it.

Everything else is fine other than algae on the top of my highest rocks. And a few strands of hair here and there.

What does this green stuff look like to you guys? It's not slimy and it does not brush off easily or completely. The meteor shower cyphastrea and the purple tipped hammer aren't being bothered by it and are just as open and pretty as ever. I only really see this stuff when the lights are out in the tank but on in the room the tank sits in. The tank lights are out in these pictures. Thanks.

So this is the 5th tank that I've ever had or helped(kids) run. I've never had coralline pop up this quick(1 month).

Next question: how can I lower PO4? I've never had an issue with it before but it is at 0.64ppm right now. Did a WC Friday. Will test it again tonight. Other parameters from this weekend are:
Trites .05ppm
Trates 15ppm
Ph 8.2
Cal 425
Mag 1300
Am was around 9(don't remember for sure)
Ammonia is tested with a hang on badge that reads less than .02 since the cycle completed.
Everything in the tank is doing great.

Edit: No room for a reactor or ATS.

Some folks have had decent results with ChemiPure Elite I believe. Also I assume the 0.64 is a typo? Or is it really that high? 0.06 would be considered high so your result had me concerned.

Tested again tonight and got the same result. Using the Red Sea Phosphate Pro kit.
