I think more importantly is that they probably started with established rock. In my experience, if you start with enough established live rock, there's basically no cycle and you can start throwing in sps in a week or two. When I upgraded from my 60 to a 150, all the rock went to the new tank, which was about half the rock. I then used about 25% of tampa bay rock (well established) and maybe 25% dry rock. Plus, I got some sand from the old tank and sand from Tampa Bay. There was no cycle and sps were happy and healthy in there a week or so later.Helps when you have a crew to watch over it and you've been in the business as long as you guys have haha.
