I'll have to widen out the hole in the body a bit. Will need to look at some of my uniseals and foam to possibly fill any gaps. Hoping to see some sales soon on varios products but not holding my breath.

I have the first Gen Aqua Maxx Cone S 2 and I put my Various S2 pump on it, it did a really good job on it, the only problem the Various is 1" and my skimmer piping was 3/4" easy fix though.

so on the ConeS CO-2 you swapped the original ac pump for the various s2 ??
guessing the drone hum is gone, how is the performance in comparison ??

It worked really well, the only issue is that the pump does not touch the sump floor like the picture above, you will need a reducer to slide over the inlet of the skimmer and not using the yellow silicon tubing that is 3/4" in diameter. To be able to control the pump is super nice. The drone is gone, and it is very quiet. Really the only issue is how will the pump attaches to the skimmer body, and that is not very good, if you pump the skimmer the pump will dislodge, easy to put back on, but I am getting old so doing hand and knee work is very difficult now.
