it is no problem at all. check out my post in the private forum, about new corals coming in... tell me what you think.

I haven't paid dues yet. Once I pay at the meeting on the 28th I'll check them out tho! I'm excited.

My display tank is starting to stabilize. I put the corals that survived back in -- seem to all be doing okay. I have a clown pair, Bangi Cardinal, fire goby and starry eyed blenny in with my blue spotted puffer in my 30 gallon fish only tank to monitor their eating right now. They seem to be doing ok. Blenny is the only one not eating right now.

Thats great news.... It has been my experience that blennies are pretty hardy, i would bet he pulls through. I move that coral thread over into the public forum as well.

We'll had to frag the green slimmer, green bird nest has lost some flesh but has stopped. Everything else is fine or it's border line. Acans, chalices and Montis all doing fine like nothing happened.

Holy cow! I completely missed this entire thread until today.....not sure how. Sorry to hear about everyone's losses, but sounds like everything could have been much worse.

I like the club generator idea. I have an additional thought:

How about an emergency tank setup? It could include a tank, heaters, lights, powerheads, thermometers, salt, etc. The tank could be kept empty and on standby at someone's home who has the ability to make water quickly. Something like this could be set up in a hurry and used for emergent temporary housing to save livestock. It would just be a matter of getting the livestock to the setup.

Surely as a club, we have all kinds of spare heaters, lights, powerheads, and thermometers floating around we can donate. The club could purchase a tub of salt and something like a 50, 75, or 100 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank.....cheap, light, and very easy to move in case the host loses power.

It may sound like overkill.....but if it can save things like my beloved pulsing Xenias and Rob's GSPs, it would be worth it.

Thoughts?

My tank is finally stable again. Did a water change yesterday. Torch, frogspawn and octospawn all doing good. Along with my small Zoas collection. Candy canes are hanging in there. Lost one and half heads on it.

Rob do you still have any bi color hammer left?

Anyone else have anything small for cheap?

I would love to have a nano tank with GSP covering the back glass and both side panels and then pulsing xenia covering every sqaure inch of the tank. Maybe a 10 gallon or 20 long.
