How far do the tank mounting arms reach? Anybody have them that knows? If you have a 30 inch front to back tank, will they safely extend out to be centered above the tank? Ceiling mounting is not an option for me

And would (3) I’m assuming be recommended for an 8 foot long tank?

3x Atlantik icon and extra 2x or 120 blue plus . For extra cover .

The Atlantik will cover very well 26inch
And the OR3 will give more extra 7inch .

My tank is 84x33x25. I just used 8020 type 15 and the screw mounts slide perfect into the rail. So far I’m happy with the lights and will give them some time to coral corals

Nvm, i figured it out.. FYI those of you that find yourself in my situation please see below:

Make sure you have setup at least one light. If you are not sure... please see orphek website....good info there.

1. Select the light that you have already setup and/or configured
2. Once you have done that you should see your current schedule (FYI this looks like a line graph of sorts)
3. Below the schedule you will see several icons (Control, Expand, settings, dashboard)
4. Select settings
5. From the settings menu, go to system settings
6. In the system settings menu, select the option to create group
7. You can then add all other lights that are setup to the same group. You will need to create a schedule for the group.
8. All done! Hope this helps.

how high do you have your lights mounted? are you using the helius program? worried about all the white light and algae... just had a long battle w dinos bc in my new frag tank.

@Orphek - it would be awesome to be able to share lighting schedules w/ other orphekers

I have mine about 18 inches off the water level. I just have the v4 though. It might be a little high up but it works

yeah I have mine about 17... I believe 18 is what bro recommended. I also have two or3 blue bars which I do like. One of them started flickering half of the lens but they were easy to get a warranty replacement from them .

I have mine approximately 14inches off the water running roughly 50% and boy do they put out a lot of light. No reason to ever run them at 100% imo. Love the lights and after switching from my v4G2 to these....corals do to... have a very natural appearance, that seem to make them glow in a very natural way. I just hope they are more reliable than the previous gen.

I run 16 inches over the water surface with the max output at 80%, midday. My tank is a deep 32". If it were not so deep i would turn down the intensity.

Icon allowed me to tune the lights in ways the gateway wouldn't allow.

How much PAR you can get from your Atlantik iCON

On the fist picture displayed Mr. Tang Go is showing the PAR readings of the Atlantik iCon at 100% and the OR3 LED Bars switched off, measured at different locations/depths in his tank. Mr. Tang told us that the PAR readings increase in 100 when the OR3 LED Bars are also turned on.

• Tank size: 60” * 24” * 24”/ 30″ drop off ( 150cm * 60cm * 60cm / 76cm drop off )
• Total: 1100 Litter /290 Gallon
• Lighting : Orphek 2 units of Atlantik iCon + 1 OR3 150 Blue/ 1 Sky Blue Plus/ 1 UV/Violet

BLUER SPECTRUMS WITH FLUORESCENCE & HIGH PAR READINGS

He also told us that when the white spectrum of the Atlantik iCon is off, displaying an ambiance of the natural color of a deep blue ocean, even so he still gets very high PAR readings and this is what excites us the most! Reefers today can have high PAR for their aquariums using Orphek solutions even when their tank are in a less brighter mode. The added value here is the fluoresce (color pop) that he is getting with bluer hues (spectrums).
